Isaki Mussa

About Isaki Mussa

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16

At the young age of 13, Isaki Mussa knows what it means to sacrifice- both on the part of his earthly and heavenly father. Growing up in an economically disadvantaged area like Chinsapo, Malawi means that his father must work very hard as a minibus driver and make sacrifices to care for his five children. Isaki is thankful for the work that his father does and that it provides three meals a day of n'sima and vegetables for him to eat. The energy that this gives him allows him to play soccer and also attend fourth grade where he enjoys studying English and Chichewa. He also understands the sacrifice that God made for him by sending Jesus. He has been able to learn about this through mentorship programs run by The Chisomo Idea in Chinsapo. The Chisomo Idea strives to help individuals and communites with social, spiritual, intellectual and physical needs. In the future, Isaki hopes to serve others by becoming a doctor and making a difference in the lives of those in his community.
